Form elements, such as checkboxes and radio icons, typically inherit their styling from the browser. However, with javascript, we can modify the elements for seamless integration of the forms, into the template style.

ImageConfigurable Controls

A series of template parameters allow you to control all aspects of the menu from type such as Fusion Menu or no menu at all, to every aspects of the Fusion Menu animations, transitions and other controls / parameters.

ImageFusion Menu

Fusion Menu, an advanced dropdown based CSS menu. It supports both mootools powered transition and animation enhancements for its dropdown as well as a script-less format with basic, animation-less dropdowns.

ImageCCK Application

K2 is a Content Construction Component (CCK) that expands the Joomla content manager well beyond its default capabilities

You need to disable the K2 Base CSS in its parameters for K2 to load the CSS from the Nexus template.

  • K2 Support
    Integrated styling for the powerful content component K2 from JoomlaWorks.
  • Javascript Styling: Radios and Checkboxes
    Additional styling for form elements, such as radios and checkboxes, for visual integration.
  • IE6 Warning Message
    A dropdown panel will appear in IE6, alerting the visitor to update their browser. This can be disabled in the template parameters.
  • Module Variations
    Nexus has 2 module hilites: hilite1 & hilite2; which provide optional, individual styling to certain modules.
  • Content Typography
    Customised typography, such as list styles and span notices, are included with this release.
  • 35 Module Positions
    The template has 35 module positions which are collapsible.
  • Browser Compatibility
    The theme is compatibility with all the major and modern browsers: FF 3.5, Safari 4, Opera 9.6, IE 6, 7, 8. Some features may only appear in certain browsers such as text shadows.

Custom Fonts

Using the CSS font-face facility, Nexus can use non-standard fonts as you would expect from flash solutions such as sIFR. Using CSS increases performance and is wide reaching. The feature is IE compatible.
